Air Max 270, Throughout 2020, the Nike Air Force 1 has emerged in some of the most well-received general release ensembles from the North American sportswear giant. For its next proposition, Bruce Kilgore’s 38-year-old design has dressed up in a glow-in-the-dark arrangement, complete with “Have A Nike Day” branding throughout the upper.
This upcoming Nike Air Force 1 two-piece pack reinstates Nike’s retro “Have a Nike Day” campaign once more, this time employing the physical Swoosh overlays for the motif’s smiling face. Both white and neon options add on two tiny eyes above the profile Check to form the face, which also appears in its more traditional form on the tongue tags, insoles, rear overlays, and through the outsole. The latter is visible thanks to a semi-translucent glow-in-the-dark outsole, a finish that is also applied to the white pair’s rear and Swoosh overlays, while the neon pair’s only additional illumination is pegged in the back. Both pairs come finished off with black tongue tags, neon green TPU pipe dubraes, and classic white midsoles.
The Nike Air Force 1 07 LX Chrome Swooshes White comes dressed in a White, Hyper Royal and Black color combination. Utilizing White tumbled leather across the upper while eight Chrome Swooshes, four on each side of the panel is used. The toe is perforated to generate a ventilated, breathable feel for the foot. The throat and tongue maintain the brilliant white leather that embodies the typical Air Force 1 aesthetic. A blue toned Nike Air logo can be seen on the ankle section of the tongue, adding the sophisticated detail this shoe requires to make any outfit pop. An intricately designed insole in this Air Force takes us by surprise with the blue hues and animated detail. As we are taken to the heel of the shoe the classic 1978 logo is presented in a black and blue colourway inside a circular shape, giving the heel a retro vibe.
