For Popular Nike Shoes, Now more than ever, the importance of sustainability can’t be undercut. Nike, even prior to their “Move to Zero” initiative, has been well-aware of this, bringing to light FlyLeather, Grind, and much, much more. Taking part of Nike’s “Move to Zero” campaign is the latest Air Force 1 Crater that arrives in another new colorway. And following their recent string of “Next Nature” offerings, the brand is to roll out more iterations of the Air Force 1 Crater, dressing it up here in a black-dominant colorway.
This offering Nike Air Force 1 comes mostly dressed in Black highlighted with a colorful pattern used on the Swoosh logos. Through the leather base and nubuck overlays, black is applied in heavy saturation — especially atop the latter fixtures. The lace unit and lining follow suit, while the branding, such as the side Swoosh and the circular design logo stamped onto the heel tab, opt for a much more vibrant display of random colors. The shoe is reimagined with Crater Foam, weighing in with at least 20% recycled materials. The supersoft Crater Foam midsole is made from a spacey mix of approximately 11% Nike Grind rubber and foam materials. With a speckled outsole made from 15% Nike Grind rubber, each pair of the Air Force 1 Crater is unique and durable.
This Air Jordan 1 Mid Purple Aqua is inspired by the first AJ1, offering fans of Jordan retros a chance to follow in the footsteps of greatness. Fresh colour trims the clean, classic materials, injecting some newness into the familiar design. The leather upper is rendered in a Glacier Blue base with contrasting lavender overlays. A pink Jumpman logo adorns the woven tongue tag. Aside from the abbreviated collar height, details are unchanged from the original AJ1, including a perforated toe box, classing Wings branding on the lateral collar flap, and a durable rubber cupsole with encapsulated Air sole cushioning.
